House Reaper
Maester Luwin says there are no more giants. He says they're all dead, like the children of the forest. All that's left of them are old bones in the earth that men turn up with plows from time to time. - A Game of Thrones[1]

House Reaper of Giant's Lair is a First Man house from Shipbreaker Bay. They are sworn to House Durrandon. House Reaper's seat is Giant's Lair.
The Reapers have taken a severed head on tan for their sigil. Their words are "Where the Small Stood Tall".
History
A little-known house, the Reapers of the Giant's Layer claim descent from Rogar Reaper, a farmhand from the town of Reaper's Rest whose only daughter was taken by a man-eating giant. Legend tells that Rogar took up his scythe, went to the giant's home atop a hill and slew it in three furious blows. Afterwards, he is said to have taken his head for a trophy, and his wife for a prize.
Rogar returned to the Giant's Lair, erecting a castle there atop the giant's bones, and mourned his lost child until his dying days. The sons that succeeded him were famed as being harsh and stony, traits that are common in all the scions of House Reaper.
