The Westeralnds are located Northwest of Westeros. They lie off the coast of the Sunset Sea, with the lands of the river in the east and the kingdom of the Reach to the south.

The Westerlands are a geographically diverse region in the northwest of Westeros.The northern areas are marked by rugged hills and tall mountains, while the southern lands feature broad plains and fertile fields.

The land is filled with rugged hills and tall mountains in the most northern parts and large plains and fertile fields in the southern part, near Crakehall Keep. The area is filled with mines of silver and gold, which provided the lord who controlled it with a great source of wealth and power.
