Symeon II Santagar

Symeon II in the latter years of his reign, after carving the kingdom that would cast his name into legend.

Symeon Santagar was the first King of Godsgrace (120-XXX A.I.), the first Andal Kingdom to emerge in the land of Dorne. He styled himself Symeon the Second, in recognition of the role of his great-grandsire, who first landed on the coast of Dorne and began to make a home for his people.

Appearance

In his youth, Symeon had well-groomed brown hair, and jungle-green eyes flecked with gold. He had a long aquiline nose, and a serious brow that seemed almost always in a state of consternation. He kept an immaculate moustache, framed by a trimmed beard that framed the the bottom half of his face.

Personality

Symeon was a man of utter conviction. Whereas his forefathers had focused on cooperation and understanding with the native and established First Man kingdoms wherever possible, Symeon believed the time for such had largely passed. He believed that Dorne could be seat of a new Andal homeland - and once he had conceived of that notion, he refused to relinquish it.
