Lorick Ryder (Lord Commander)
Lorick Ryder was a Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. He was born into House Ryder. He was elected Lord Commander in 61 A.I. and was preceded in his post by Lord Commander Owen Dustin. He was a brother to King Vayon of the Rills.
Life Pre-Night's Watch[edit]
Lorick was a younger brother of Vayon Snow, a bastard-born son of Royce Ryder who would go on to be king. He joined the Night's Watch after meeting a wandering crow in 38 A.I.
The Night's Watch[edit]
Lorick joined the order of the Rangers after taking his vows. After 14 years, he was made the Commander of the Shadow Tower in 52 A.I., and then after almost a decade he was elected Lord Commander of the Night's Watch in 61 A.I.
