Arms of House Miller

House Miller of Brushmill is a First Man house near the Wendwater. They are sworn to House Bywater. Their seat is Brushmill.

The Miller sigil depicts per cross blue and white shield, a quill and a hammer crossed. Their words are "With Hammer and Quill".

History

The Millers, in the early years of the Coming of the Andals, were the first in the Stormlands to adopt Andal styles of writing for their own, seeing it as far more efficient and easy to use than runes. So inspired they were, they took the quill alongside their hammer as charges on their banners.
