House Fording

House Fording are a noble house of First Men origin and a vassal of House Gardener of Highgarden. The seat of House Fording is Fording Keep.

Notable Members

• Lord Herrick Fording – Lord of Stonebridge under the rule of King Gwayne IV 'the Gods Fearing' Gardener during the Andal Invasions.

• Alester Fording – A cautionary tale told in the Reach. It speaks of Alester Fording and his fate. It is said that he was granted a castle at a young age. Out of foolishness he injured his head, lost his own mind, and died in sorrow and despair.

• Lord Ardon 'Ale-Lover' Fording – Lord of Stonebridge under the rule of King Galayn Gardener during the Andal Invasions. Known as a merry land who may not really be a Fording. At a feast he accidentally killed the husband of Lady Mellony Foote.
