House Farwynd of Lonely Light
House Farwynd of Lonely Light is a great house of the Ironborn. Their seat is built on the Lonely Light, an island an eight-day sail from Great Wyk. They are a cadet branch of Farwynd, though enjoy somewhat more prestige as they rule over an entire island and are sworn directly to the King of the Iron Islands.

Background[edit]
House Farwynd originated on Great Wyk. At some point, sailors under a Farwynd captain were blown off course during a storm and discovered the Lonely Light. The captain built a great beacon tower as his keep, and became Lord of the Lonely Light.
