History

House Crakehall briefly aligned with the Rock during the Reign of Loreon IV Lannister, joining with both he and the Footehill Clans in a bold attack on the Reach. The Crakehalls were defeated and humiliated by the end of the war - due to the confused conflict with their Stormland allies, and the overwhelming competence of King Garth X Gardener.

King Brandon Crakehall became renowned for his defeat and subjugation of the ancient Foote Kings, after his men had raided into Crakehall's territory for a number of years. Tension with the Rock however, increased as a result of the conflict, and became worse when the Footes, now Crakehall bannermen, raided into the lands of House Plumm, and made away with Maege Plumm, formerly Maege Lannister of Fang Hill.

Brandon Crakehall met with Ronnel Reyne, Lord of Castamere in 4_ A.I., and negotiated bending the knee to the Kings of the Rock, ending the line of Crakehall Kings.

The Crakehalls were then raised up as the Rock's Southern-March, given several privileges that aided in the building of a formidable army that was put to the test during the Seven Years' War.

House Crakehall's close alliance with House Reyne has been reinforced multiple times since their entry into the Kingdom of the Rock. Together the two houses rose up in Rebellion against the Lannister regime of King Tyrion I, the houses had been slighted and forced into multiple foreign wars and as such fought to remove Tyrion from power and crown themselves kings once more, joined by house Dale.

The two houses were defeated, the Reynes wiped out, the Dales reduced to lowly magnars and the Crakehalls losing heads and lands both in equal measure. Following this defeat the Crakehalls converted to the andalic ways alongside their lieges and fellow magnars in the south.
