House Coldwater

House Coldwater is a proud and unrelenting house of the First Men. Their seat was once Coldwater Castle, now it is Helmesmont Hold in the Riverlands.
History
The Coldwaters were among the first to rise when their neighbouring First Men kingdoms, the Brightstones and Shells, were overrun by Andal swords. They have harassed the newcomers ever since, refusing treaties, scorning peace, and striking from woods, hills, and hidden vales. Their loyalty is to the Old Ways, the old gods, and the blood of the First Men.
Unlike other First Men houses in the Fingers that faded into obscurity or erased, House Coldwater remained for a longer time till King Hrolf Coldwater was killed in duell by Torgold Tolett. Not long after they lost the war and moved to the Riverlands where King Tristifer IV Mudd gave them a new home close to the mountains of the Vale.
