"As it should." Ser Glendon Ball gave his sword another stroke with the whetstone. "The Warrior hates cravens."
- The Hedge Knight[1]
Arms of House Beesbury. Words: ‘Hot Blooded’.

House Ball of Hoodbine are a noble house of First Men origin and a vassal of the Gardeners of Highgarden. The seat of House Ball is Hoodbine.

History

The Balls descend from one of the three husbands duped by Florys the Fox, sly daughter of Garth Greenhand; each man fathered a separate blood-line, House Florent, House Ball, and House Peake—and none knew of the others until the trickster revealed her jest. [2]
