Florian ‘The Brave’ Mooton is King of House Mooton and ruler over Maidenpool and its surrounding land in the Riverlands.

Appearance

Florian is a man in his mid‑thirties with a neatly trimmed auburn beard and short hair. His keen brown eyes show intelligence and confidence. He wears a simple circlet of hammered bronze with ruby’s.

Personality

Just and measured, Florian values fairness and the welfare of his people above all. He is cordial to his vassals and beloved by his smallfolk, yet resolute when Maidenpool’s safety is at stake. His calm demeanor hides a determination to protect his realm.

History

Florian inherited Maidenpool from his father and has since guided the town’s growth through trade and cautious alliances. Though once bannermen of House Mudd, the Mootons now stand independent, bolstered by Florian’s marriage to King Staun Darklyn’s daughter. Together they defend their realms against Andal warbands and would‑be usurpers.

Quotes by Florian

“What I have is enough—and now more than ever we must hold on to it. Rest assured, we will.” ― King Florian Mooton, speaking to his father‑in‑law Staun Darklyn.
