Elsewhere in the realm, the Allyrions, the Jordaynes, and the Santagars carved out holdings for themselves. - The World of Ice and Fire[1]

Symeon Santagar was an Andal adventurer who landed on the Broken Arm in Dorne in the early Andal Invasions to found House Santagar.
History
Symeon Santagar was an Andal adventurer who was among the first and most intrepid of those to emigrate from Andalos during the onset of the Coming of the Andals. After landing on the Broken Arm of Dorne, he claimed the jungles there and named them Spottswood, building a castle upon a lake deep within the jungle.
