House Evenstar of Tarth has rebelled many times, seeking independence as kings in their own right. House Wylde has ever consulted the Children before their King, upholding the laws of weirwood and root above bronze and stone. But at this time, the Stag Kings remained the most powerful and dominating force in the region.
