Owen Fowler

Owen Fowler was a King of Stone and Sky in Dorne during the first century of the Andal Invasions. He reigned from 86 A.I. to 91 A.I.

Owen Fowler returned Skyreach to a kingdom after his uncle had become a lord under the Bloodroyal.

History

As the son of the disgraced Prince Ferris 'the Desert Hawk' Fowler, Owen spent much of his childhood hidden away in the depths of Skyreach by his uncle, Lord Roryn. As an adult, however, Owen met and befriended Yorick Dayne. At the behest of Yorick's uncle, King Cyrus 'the Sword of the Morning' Dayne, Yorick initiated a pact with Owen to back him in a coup of Skyreach and rebellion against the Bloodroyals. When Lord Roryn died and his daughter, Josella, inherited the seat, Owen led a coup in the castle and took his birthright from his cousin.

A coalition of the Torrentine led by King Cyrus and the Brimstone led by King Vorcan 'Longshanks' Dryland reinforced Owen's armies and fought back the might of Bloodroyal Yorick III 'the Feeble' Yronwood and his Andal ally, Lord Vorian 'the Silent Chain' Roxton. Unfortunately, Owen did not live long to see his restored kingdom flourish; he was attacked by a massive cave bear in 91 A.I. and torn to shreds.
