Following the death of Belthasar Bolton, the grip of the flayed man began to loosen on the periphery, particularly around his recent conquests. What remained of the Mountain Clans went looked to their own lands once again, and paid no mind or fealty to the Dreadfort. The Wolfswood had been returned to the Children of the Forest.
