After Queen Bronwyn Den Reeve died, her descendants all being [[House Darklyn|Darklyns]] who could not hold Misty Isle, King Gerrold II Fisher declared himself the new King of Misty Isle, restoring its independence. This independence should only last for fifty years, then the host of Roy [[House Cargyll|Cargyll]] appeared, which sieged down Misty Isle.
