During the war of the Tristifers, Magnar Kenron Strong sided with Prince Tristifer “the Brave.” When the rebellion failed, he was punished by King Tristifer “Justheart.” As part of his penalty, Kenron was forced to send his eldest grandson, Damon Strong, to Oldstones. There, among the Mudd children and many other wards, Damon was raised in the culture and faith of the Mudd kings. This upbringing ensured that the future Lord of Three Forks would follow their customs and remain bound to them in friendship.

House Strong are a House of First Men origin from the Rivers and the Hills. They are sworn to House Mudd. Their seat is Lancewood.
