Arms of House Redwind

House Redwind of Redwind is a First Man house in Cape Wrath. They are sworn to none. Their seat is Redwind, a log-fort overlooking one of the tributaries of the River Slayne.

Their sigil is crimson and burgundy gyronny arrondi. Their words are "As Strong as the Gale".

History

The founder of House Redwind, whose name is now lost to time, was a wandering sellsword who fought in a long-forgotten war centred in the forests of Redwind, where the fighting was said to be so savage and furious the blood spilled could still be smelled a league away. This war ended with the death of the previous lords of Redwind, and the sellsword took the castle and name for his own, where his descendents have ruled as House Redwind ever since.

Notable Members

  • Lord Belthasar Redwind, head of House Redwind during the early Andal Invasions.
