House Melcolm are a House of First Man descent. Situated on the eastern coast of the Vale across the Rune Sea from Runestone, they are loyal vassals of house Royce. Their seat is Old Anchor.
History
House Melcolm have long been loyal vassals of House Royce, sworn to them since the early days of the Age of Heroes. While most First Men clung to the land and old ways, the Melcolms turned to the sea, forming the beginnings of trade routes that have started to make Old Anchor a hub of maritime activity.
In recent times, with the rise of Gulltown, trade has shifted, and Old Anchor has since fallen into disrepair, its docks no longer bustling and its name fading from the mouths of traders.
