House Ironsmith are a noble house of First Man origin from the Greyforge Hills, situated in the northern reaches of the Rills in the North. Their seat is Grindstone.

History[edit]

House Ironsmith are one of the few houses outside of the Iron Islands that specialise in ironworking, mostly in the forms of horseshoes. They are a relatively young house that came to land and lordship in the service of House Ryder. Their lands, the Greyforge Hills, used to be within the Kingdom of the Amberwood during the early Age of Heroes, before being claimed by the Ryder Kings.
