House Frost are a House of First Men descent, situated in the far North-Eastern forests and bogs of the North. Their original seat was Frostguard, a fortress in the hills to the north of the Long Lake, but they have since lost their original seat, and rule from the castle of Frosthold.

The Frosts are an ancient House, and were among the most powerful and respected royal houses in the early period of the Age of Heroes. However, since that time the power of neighbouring kings, particularly the Starks of Winterfell and the Boltons of the Dreadfort have led to significant loss of power and territory.

Upon reaching his majority, he affirmed the continuing relevance and strength of his Kingdom by his relations with neighboring realms, being hosted as honored guest and equal by the feared Red King Rogar and feasting the King of Last Hearth in his own hall. His sister, Val Frost, took an active role in the rule of his Kingdom. In his early reign, she served as regent during the young King's absences from his hall.

Was reviled and shunned by many on the Wall, but was taken under the wing of Lord Commander Adrek Fisher. After deeds of undeniable heroism - was elected the ___th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch.
