Jaime distinguished himself in the war, and in recognition of his service, King Tristifer granted him the lands of Milkstone and rule over the Godsfort, placing him among the trusted lords of [[Riverlands|the River and the Hills]]. The Farrings now held firm ground in the Riverlands.
