History

House Den Reeve rose to power during the Andal invasion under the leadership of the warlord Forley Den Reeve. He landed on the shores of Misty Island, intent on claiming the lands held by the ancient Fisher Kings. King Elmar Fishers attempted to parley with the invaders, but the peace talks failed. Facing overwhelming odds, Elmar turned to rituals, sacrificing himself before the River Gods in a desperate attempt to unleash a plague upon his enemies.

The ensuing pestilence devastated both sides. The source of the plague remained uncertain—whether born of the Fishers’ dying curse or some unintended consequence of Andal intrusion—but it spread rapidly, killing many, including Forley Den Reeve himself and his only son.

Surviving the plague was Bronwyn Den Reeve, Forley's daughter. In the chaos that followed, she took command of the remaining Andal host and led a brutal campaign against the weakened remnants of the Fisher kingdom. Her victories earned her the title Warrior-Queen, and under her rule, House Den Reeve solidified control over the Misty Isles.

Notable Members

  • Lord Forley Den Reeve, Andal Warlord who started the conquest against House Fisher and then died to a plague.
  • Queen Bronwyn Den Reeve, finished the conquest of the Misty Isles and became its queen.
